I am thrilled to be a guest at two very inspiring festivals in New York City: Bang on a Can Marathon on 21 June and the Unmentionables Film Festival on 19 June. Prior to these performances I am performing my solo program Project 88 on 17 June. Drop in at one of these occasions if you are close by!
On April Fool’s Day my new CD Canto Osinato is coming out. I recorded it together with Gerard Bouwhuis on two marvelous Faziolis 308. Be quick and make your PRE ORDER now.
On 30 April I am presenting the Dutch premiere of Multus#2: dance on piano. It’s a stunning program of Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring, and two works of Erik Satie and John Cage. The program starts with a performance of FETTER in the main hall.
The CD recorded by Seattle Symphony with Raskatovs Night Butterflies had a great review in the New York Times ArtsBeat section. I am happy to share it with you. Click on.
I am very happy to share with you a nice review from 3voor12 about my project 88 in Tilburg, the south of Holland. Accoording to the review I made and ineffaceable impression with my musical ‘tour de force’. Read the whole review in Dutch here.
On 14 and 18 January I am performing in the south of Holland. Tickets are still available for My Private Odyssey in Helmond and my fashionable SUPER T-Market at Piet Hein Eek in Eindhoven.
The piano concerto Night Butterflies that Aleksander Raskatov composed for me is recorded by the Seattle Symphony Orchestra this year. Digital downloads and CDs are now available through iTunes and Amazon.
It is wonderful for me to play once again Canto Ostinato with pianist Gerard Bouwhuis during this cold season of the year. Bring your lights from home and connect them to our set on stage and watch time pass as the lights dim. This unique concert will be registered for a CD recording that is planned to be released next year.
